The new Xbox 720 has just got more interesting. The most recent rumours are stemming from the latest devkits sent out to developers for project ‘Durango’.
The console is set to pack a 16-core IBM Power PC CPU with a graphics processor on par with AMD’s Radeon HD 7000-series graphics cards. The 16 cores is the most impressive feat here, with a mild graphics card.
Most will argue the cores are excessive and more than needed, however, something worth considering is the strain the Xbox is put under, with the new Kinect system. It is believed that the new Kinect will eat up 4 cores of the processor alone.
But, for now we will let the rumours cycle.
Do these cores entice you? Would you purchase the console based on these specs? Or does the design at the top tickle your taste bud? Comment down below, and let all the staff here at BloomeCorp here your Opinon.
