In the latest I/O that Google held. They release news of a few nifty devices, some that may even get a mention on BloomeCorp. The most exciting news I felt Google released was the level of activations they see on devices on a daily basis.
They boast about the 400 million devices that currently use Android. They also delivered news that 400,000 devices are being activated per day, that boils down to a cool 12 devices per second. Pretty impressive.
Google has clearly cracked the mobile market through their Android operating system. But what can we expect in the future however. With Android being the most popular mobile operating system, I dont image that will slip any time soon. But i do strive for a bit more competition, perhaps the RIM operating system or windows might take more market share. Only the future knows.
